Construction The following road construction project is in progress: road construction with one lane closed, reduced speed limit, and width limit 12 ft until further notice. One lane traffic and reduced speed limit on I-90 eastbound and westbound from mile post 2.5 to 6.5, near Lookout Pass. Effective May 11, 2024: expect a 12-foot width restriction for eastbound and westbound traffic. Two-way traffic will be set up in the westbound lanes of I-90 from mile post 3 to 6. Wilde load piloting is provided both east and westbound. Wide loads must stage by 7:00 am MST Monday through Friday at the designated staging areas. Eastbound staging area is located on I-90 at mile post 68 in Idaho. Westbound staging area is located on I-90 at mile post 16 in Montana at the Haugan weigh station. Eastbound I-90 traffic can access the Taft area by continuing east to the Saltese interchange at Exit 10, and detouring back on I-90W to Taft.
