Lisa: I was there, assisted him at the scene until EMS arrived. He was horribly injured but alive when they put him in the ambulance. He said his name was RAY. His Right leg was a near amputation at the ankle. My husbands belt went with him as the first tournaquet. 6 years ago > REPLY

Lisa: I didn't see it happen but arrived like a minute later. A lady said she saw him get hit and go down and then get run over. He was unconscience when I arrived. He came to. He was very disoriented but talking. He was trying to get up and we were trying to tournaquet his leg and keep him still. He didn't know he was in an accident. He was fighting us a bit because he took a blow to the head. It was hard to get the tournaquet on, he was thrashing because he didn't know what we were doing. EMS was not near so taking forever!! A nurse came and was able to get the tournaquet on. His heart beat was falling off right as EMS pulled in. Is he OK? 6 years ago > REPLY
Holly: I was there, too. There was a witness who saw the accident. She talked to police. There were at least 5 women praying for him and talking to him trying to keep him conscious. There was an ER nurse who worked at Christ Hospital that came running after a few minutes - I think she was in a car that was stopped a few cars back and put that belt on his leg really tight - your uncle groaned but it had to be done to stop the bleeding. That nurse started CPR on him as all of a sudden he was just silent. The nurse yelled she needed help turning him over to get to his chest. I don't know who helped turn your uncle over as I was yelling to the ambulance guys to hurry that CPR was started on him. I hope your Uncle recovers. Please keep us posted of his condition. 6 years ago > REPLY
