Accident on

No mention in any news of two bikers that hit a deer approx 3 miles east of Ovando on Saturday just after noon. One had at least compound ankle fracture, other more serious with head injuries. Three Highway Patrol responded, as well as Ovando Fire, Lincoln and Helmville ambulances. Hwy traffic tied up. Bikes likely totaled. Injured deer was shot by citizens who stopped. Many people stopped to offer assistance. First responders, Paramedic, Army Medic, many people helping on scene half hour before ambulances arrived. No coverage anywhere. > reply
