Part of Interstate 40 reopens after derailment near AZ-NM border

NEW MEXICO (KRQE) - A portion of Interstate 40 has reopened following a derailment, and the evacuation status in the area has changed. The McKinley County Fire Department said westbound I-40 at mile marker 126 is open to traffic after a train derailed near the Arizona-New Mexico border.
