Vermont State Police locate woman who hit cruiser in North Carolina

SUNDERLAND >> State Police say the driver of a car that collided with a trooper's cruiser Monday morning, then fled the scene, boarded a flight to Charlotte, N.C., where she is currently located. Police said that Trooper Benjamin Barton was on the Route 7 exit ramp in Sunderland when an oncoming car lost control and veered into his lane. > react

Vinnie: It makes me wonder if this were a ordinary citizen would the cops have ever pursued this woman. I don't believe they would have put the effort in. It would have been an unsolved cold case because they wouldn't have done a thing. I hope this woman gets off. 9 years ago > REPLY
