After part of a trail near Hwy 71 in Bella Vista got washed out, pedestrians & cyclists began using Hwy 71 as a detour.
To increase safety along the highway, ARDOT sign crews volunteered to come in on their day off to install additional signage.

@lewis2_paul Tuesday afternoon, we had to close it briefly due to debris in the roadway. Traffic was slow to recover. The I-430 managed lane is typically opened weekdays at 3:30pm unless there is fog, an accident or debris in the roadway.
