Franklin Parish Teen Airlifted after being ejected in rollover crash

Multiple teens were involved in a single vehicle crash, The teens were traveling South in a 90's model Chevrolet pick-up, when sometime around pm on LA 132 The driver for 'currently unknown' reasons lost control of the vehicle. While trying to regain control the Pick up struck a Ditch and flipped multiple times. A Passenger was ejected from the rear Window and was Airlifted with Serious Life threatening injuries En route for LSU Shreveport, However the the teens Injuries were to severe and unstable resulting in an emergency Landing at St. Francis Hospital in Monroe. His name and condition were not available Sunday night.The Driver and other Passengers suffered only minor injuries.None of the Occupants had on their Safety Belts. Police say the Driver stated an Animal crossed in the roadway causing the him to over-correct However,excessive speed and careless driving is also suspected. Alcohol and drugs are suspected factors in the crash, Samples were taken and sent for testing. At this time The Incident remains under investigation by the Louisiana State Police and no citations have been issued. > reply
