Finally thru it

finally got to the end of the traffic and it was a horrible wreck workers are trying to clean up now. It involved a red truck and a 18 wheeler hauling beer. Apparently when they wreck beer went everywhere And it wasn't a pretty site as far as the vehicles involved go. I pray the people driving that was involved are okay. > reply

USer Comment Shirl: About 10-15miles south of Buffalo, no way people survived in the two cars. Very sad. 9 years ago > REPLY

USer Comment Charli: we were driving by and going southbound and the wreCk is in the north bound lane. we saw some damage to one of the semis and there is a red club cab truck it was smashed and another car was smashed off the road. It looked like there was another semi involved but its not stated. The traffic was at least 15 miles long behind it. We dont know anything else but if there were no fatalities that would be a miracle! Thinking of everyone that was involved! 9 years ago > REPLY

USer Comment TXBirder: It took me about an hour to get through it. Passed by the scene shortly after 7 PM. By then all that was left was the clean-up crew and the Mayflower Moving truck (cab separated from the trailer) that appears to have been carrying a ton of Heineken. No other vehicles present. Does anyone know when the wreck occurred? 9 years ago > REPLY

USer Comment driver: I passed the accident around 4pm. 9 years ago > REPLY

USer Comment Doodle: Passed it about 2:00 pm or earlier. Also passed several ambulances trying to get to the scene. I have been worrying about those involved all day. I hope there were no fatalities but from the looks of it, there may have been. I pray for all involved. 9 years ago > REPLY

USer Comment Korso: At 1:30-1:45pm there was a fed ex 18 wheeler in the left hand lane broken down. That is what most likely caused the accident. I come back through about 3:00 going south and saw the wreck with the FedEx 18 wheeler on the side of the road. Bc of where the 18 wheeler was sitting, I could see how it was a dangerous spot for the wreck. 9 years ago > REPLY

USer Comment Lucky: We were 30 seconds behind it when it occurred. 2 semis and one red truck. The two in the red truck died on scene. The driver of second semi was critical. When we saw the smoke from brakes and beer bottles exploding, we put on our hazards and tried to warn everyone behind us that we were slowing, some folks were passing us on the shoulder! As they were not looking at the devastations ahead! Unbelievable. We don't know the full cause. We were parked and walking around as it was a standstill. We watched life flight arrive, then leave along with all the ambulances. Took about 3 hours to get the left lane open to allow traffic to move thru. Prayers for all involved and their families 9 years ago > REPLY
