Falling Debris From Truck Hitting Front of Car

On Sunday February 8, 2015 at around 1030am while traveling North on East Main Street in Bradford, PA a plow truck hauling ice and other debris hit a bump in the road. During this bump in the road, the debris within the bed of the truck became dislodged and fell onto the roadway. With oncoming traffic Southward, traffic vehicles behind the occupied vehicle and snow piles on the side of the road it was not possible to move out of the direction of this debris. The debris hit the front of the occupied vehicle causing a large crunch to be heard. A picture of the truck was taken and the occupied vehicle then pulled off the road to inspect the front of the occupied vehicle. After inspection of the front of the occupied vehicle, it was noted that a large portion of the bumper was broken off and missing, as well as a right fog lamp cover, and a crack in the windshield. The damage was noted and the occupied vehicle then continued down the road to attempt to identify the truck. After a period of 20 minutes driving down the road, Northward and then Southward, it was noted that the truck was not able to be found. The driver of the occupied vehicle was able to find the owner of the truck and has called several times to make contact, leaving messages on 2 occasions. No return calls were ever made. > reply
