Rear Ending

The crash occurred about 11 pm on Saturday 01/31/15 on US-36 W near the Church Ranch Boulevard exit in Broomfield. It was dark with heavy snowfall and the roads were covered in thick ice. The driver's side of a silver 2005 Saab 9-2x Aero slid into the passenger's side rear bumper of a green 1999 Toyota Corolla. The Saab had roughly a 2 foot long scraping dent along the side of the car and the Toyota had a dent to the corner bumper and a shattered tail light, though the bulb was still functional. There were three passengers in each car, none of whom sustained any injuries. Both vehicles were operable and in safe condition to drive with all lights functioning so no police or medical dispatch were called to assist. > reply
