USer Comment DAVE HAWKINS: WHY ARE TRANSPORT TRUCKS THAT RUN THE 401 AND OTHER 400 SERIES NOT STOPPED , FOR SPEEDING WHEN ALL TRUCKS ARE ONLY ALLOWED 105. I,VE FOLLOWED ONE FOR A SHORT DISTANCE AT 145 .APPROX. 1/4 MILE JUST TO SEE WHAT SPEED HE WAS TRAVELLING. AND I DIDN,T HAVE MY CELL PHONE WITH ME. OR I WOULD HAVE REPORTED THIS . AS I DROVE TRANSPORT FOR JUST OVER 41 YRS. ACCIDENT & TICKET FREE.THESE DAYS NOW HAVE YOUNG GUYS DRIVING WHAT THEY THINK IS THERE HOT ROD HONDA. AS MOST OF US OLD GUY,S ARE GETTING OUT OF TRUCK DRIVING. MAYBE THE OPP SHOULD SPEND SOME TIME ON CHECKING THESE TRUCKS . EVEN IF IT CAN ( SAVE ONE LIFE ) AND CHECK THERE LOG BOOKS A BIT CLOSER . AS MOST OF THESE YOUNG GUY,S USE 2-3 LOG BOOKS. I HAVE A POLICE SCANNER I PAID OVER $900.00 FOR .AND LISTEN TO THE ONT PROV. POLICE. AND NEVER HEAR OF A TRUCK BEING STOPPED FOR THIS CRAZY SPEEDING. BE SAFE ON THE ROAD. 9 years ago > REPLY
