USer Comment Joseph Salemi: I also ride a motorcycle at the age of 63 and have to say I love to ride. In today's world people in general do not respect others and simply do not care, specially on the freeways. Everyone is doing their own thing, texting or using their cell phones or just not paying attention to focusing on driving. The point I am making is that today's society is changing and it's changing for the worst. Come on people wake up, and be considerate towards other people that you may endanger. I have a 70% rate of near accidents when I ride my bike and serious thinking about selling it. It's a real shame and sad that I can't enjoy something like riding a bike and worried if I will make it back home alive. I also own a plumbing company and drive quite a bit as well. I see drivers doing things that a stunt driver would have a hard time to match. Yes, I am talking about the cell phone and electronic gadgets that people use while driving. I blame the law for not inforcing this type of driving behavior. The police do not do their jobs to protect innocent people from getting hurt. Have you ever noticed while being in a restaurant, families, and or couples having phones and texting while sitting and waiting for service? People in general do not communicate with each other as before they had their electronic devices. Last wk. I experienced a couple sitting at a table and the girl looked very frustrated because her date was texting and not communicating with her, not a good relationship to have when someone is being left out. These phones will change our world and this will start a new way of less communicating with others. We make our own decisions in life and it's a shame we let a cell phone control our lives. We in general are going in the wrong direction and don't know it or maybe don't care. It only gets worse than better due to our selfish and ignorant society. God help us. 9 years ago > REPLY
